Enjoy an evening of blues, soul and rock (and a little country) with the band Catfish. The band features Ken Stuart (keyboard/vocals), Garner Lester (guitar/vocals), Paul VanAcker (bass) and Chris Probst (percussion), plus some guests, who will perform a laid back, fun-filled show.
Recent quote from Ed Stark, president of the CT Blues Society
“The Walter Lewis Blues Trio did a set of traditional blues that seemed to go by in a flash. Probably the most “down home blues” of any band in the entire competition. Songs from the deep south and Muddy Waters era in Chicago. Walter has this music “down” and is given strong support by David Anastasia (bass) and Scott Logan (drums)”
Mark & Jim played briefly in the Robert Stevens Blues Band before starting to play as an acoustic duo called The Screamin’ Adults. The name scared too many people off, so we shortened it to The Adults. Pete and Chris Grennan were in a band called Glue that became disbanded and unglued. We took them in. The mighty Gene Tiernan sits in on drums sometimes, and we’ve been lucky enough to have Paul Simonetta join in on saxophone.
